Q1: Am I being forced to sign up for an account?
A1: No! However, to enhance your user experience, we recommend signing up for an account and transferring all your linked devices to account mode.


Q2: Can I continue to use DMSS after 15 May if I don’t sign up for an account?
A2: Yes, you can continue using the DMSS app to manage your previously linked devices without an account.
However, to add any new devices, you will need to sign up for an account.


Q3: Why do I need to use account mode?
A3: Account mode improves the security of your devices, as they can only be linked to and managed under your account.
If you switch mobile phones, you can still access all your linked devices by logging into your account.
Additionally, account mode supports a wider range of devices, while local mode only supports a limited number of device types.


Q4: Once I create an account and link my devices, will my personal details and device information be transferred to China?
A4: No. Our cloud servers are deployed in multiple global locations, including Germany, North America, and Singapore.
Additionally, DMSS complies with GDPR regulations to ensure your data privacy and security.
